What is Graview Cloud?

Graview Cloud is the hosted way to use Graview. You say what you're organizing in ChatGPT or Claude, or start from one of twelve templates. About a minute later, it's an app at its own address on graview.app, live for everyone you invite.

Plan a wedding with vendors against a budget. Track a kitchen renovation with what's on order and which trade is doing what. Run a five-a-side season with who's available for each game. When the job changes, ask for a change and the app changes shape with it.

Why We Built It

A lot of shared work lives in a group chat and a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts. Who booked the venue? Is the florist over budget? Did anyone order the flooring before the carpenter turns up?

A general chat assistant can talk about that, but it can't keep it. Spreadsheets keep it, but they don't know a budget is a rule, or who changed what last Tuesday.

We built Graview Cloud so anyone can get an app with real records, rules and history without writing code or setting up anything. It runs on the same Graview framework developers use, so an app made here is a real declaration you can take with you.

A Hands-On Way to Go from a Sentence to a Shared App

1. Describe it. Add Graview to ChatGPT or Claude once, then say what you're organizing in your own words. Or start from a template on graview.cloud.

2. Get the app. It shows up in your chat at its own address, with the records and rules the job needs. It opens on any phone.

3. Invite people. Give each person a role: owner, editor, viewer, or one your app defines. Everyone sees each change as it lands, with the name of whoever made it.

4. Change it by asking. Ask for a deposit field or a budget warning and the app updates. Every record comes through, and if one wouldn't, you're asked first. Earlier versions can be restored.

Connecting a chat uses a custom MCP connector at https://mcp.graview.cloud/mcp. You sign in on graview.cloud, choose which apps the chat can reach, and press Allow.

Built Around People and AI in the Same App

  • Every change attributed. Each change records who made it and how, whether that's Sam on her phone or Claude acting for you. Any one change can be undone on its own, including last week's.
  • Your AI has your permissions. A connected chat can do what you could do in that app, and nothing more. Its changes are labeled as its own, and it can never change who has access.
  • Rules that watch. Say "warn me if a category goes over budget." The app flags the record that breaks the rule and offers the fix.
  • Nothing overwritten quietly. If two people edit the same thing at once, the second person picks which version to keep. Your chat is told what others changed before it answers you.
  • A map and pages. The Scene draws every record as a block, grouped by kind, with anything wrong lit up. Pages lay the same app out for small screens.
  • Private by default. Only you can open a new app until you share it. Each app runs on its own, with its own storage. En Dash doesn't read your apps or train models on them. Staff can only look if you grant read-only support access, which lasts 24 hours.
  • Leave with everything. Export an app and its whole history as one file. It opens in the Graview framework on your own machine. If you delete an app, it's gone within 7 days, and from backups within 30.

Useful for People Keeping Track of Something Together

This is for households, small teams, clubs and anyone running a project with other people: life admin, events, home projects, research, a club season, inventory, a content calendar, hiring, or a bug bash.

You don't need ChatGPT or Claude to use it. A chat is just the quickest way in. The people you invite only need the link.

If you'd rather own the code and run it on your own servers, start with Graview, the open framework underneath.

Built to Make the Idea Click

Some tracking fits in a group chat. Most of it needs records, rules, and a clear answer to "who changed this?"

Graview Cloud exists so more people can turn a sentence into an app their group actually uses, work in it alongside their AI, and take every change back if they need to. It's in private alpha now. Invites go out in small batches, and it's free while the alpha runs.
